We offer the best Barre Classes Boston!

Classes are all-level and include options for modifications and advancements. Please let your instructor know if it is your first  barre class. Please let your instructor know if you are new to class. Classes may also be offered in a 45 minute format. These are denoted as “Express” on the schedule.

All classes may be taken barefoot or in barre grippy socks.

Barre

Our barre classes Boston are designed to empower your entire body - arms, thighs, glutes, and core. The focus of a barre class, which has stemmed from traditional ballet training, is to exhaust specific muscle groups and strengthen them through a series of small, precise, and repetitive exercises. These exercises are followed by an intentional sequence of stretches that target those same muscle groups to leave your muscles lean, and your body feeling strong and healthy.

Strong Glutes Barre

This all-levels barre class is dedicated to the glutes muscle group. Building strength and stability both at the barre and on the mat, with or without equipment. The glutes are the stabilizers of our hips and pelvis, making these low-impact exercises ideal for hip flexor mobility and low back support. You'll increase awareness of the three gluteal muscles to mindfully activate them through the glute-mind connection. As always with barre, you will tune into other muscle groups simultaneously, empowering your entire body. Expect full range-of-motion movements as well as micro movements, pulses, holds, some hamstring works, and of course a feel-good stretch. This barre class will build and lift your booty, enhance stability, and leave you feeling strong and powerful in your body.

Strength & Sweat

This circuit style class incorporates strength training along with cardio to create one high impact workout. All major muscle groups will be targeted in incremental, intentional, and repetitive exercises. The class is broken down into several segments in order to build strength through the entire body as you make your way through a full body workout. HIIT (high-intensity interval training) rounds are often included with modification offered for anyone working with injuries or with special circumstances.

Dance Cardio: Party with Jamie

Dance Cardio is a full body, upbeat, and sweaty workout. You'll be led through beginner friendly dance moves, all to the beat of a performance enhancing playlist. Everything from Pop, House/Dance, R&B, and Hip Hop, to Disco Funk. Dance is a form of expression that requires zero words. We hold stress in our bodies - physical, mental, emotional. Dancing is a powerful tool for releasing all of that. Dance Cardio class is a free space to move however you want to move, and have an awesome time doing it! No dance experience necessary.
